Smart Balance
- The Smart Balance project consisted of creating 7 private office setups for corporate executives and 3 additional support staff offices.
- BCinteriors provided space planning, interior design and project management services in setting up this new corporate office.
- The furniture used was a combination of Kimball Office Definition, Kimball Xcite and Kimball Traxx.
- One of the major challenges of this project was installation. All Smart Balance offices are on the second floor accessible only by a narrow set of stairs. Also, there were built in cabinets that BCinteriors created using custom cuts of Definition product. This ensured that the casework built into the walls matched the office furniture perfectly.
- Another challenge was to create 7 executive private offices when the building only had 5 closed walled offices. To accommodate the needs for an upscale office in a private area we used Kimball Xcite to create wood walled private offices that give an executive feel, with extra high panels for privacy.
CSU Hughes Stadium
- We are able to meet tight time deadline for installation of furniture.
- Specified product to fit into a fairly restrictive furniture budget.
- Gave the project an identifiable look by specifying CSU Ram laser images on the backs of the wood seating in the club area.
- Quickly took care of small amount of punch list items.
CU Basketball
- We had to create more of a professional image with a flair for fun by integrating work surfaces, support elements, storage units and mobile pieces.
- The University of Colorado was given a budget to work with and by utilizing the Kimball Footprints products we were able to not only meet it but create slam dunk with the overall functionality.
- C.U. wanted to make a lasting impression on their basketball recruits while visiting in their basketball operation offices.
- The local design firm wanted to work with a competent furniture company that could deliver a quality product that met the construction schedule.
- There are 2 distinct styles of coaching at C.U. and the space needed to reflect their overall differences while keeping the school’s visions in mind.
